Medicaid
Alabama Medicaid Online Application
Application for Children to receive Medicaid or AllKids Benefits.

- HEALS Clinic
Medical, dental, and optometry care for children age birth to 19. They accept Medicaid, AllKids, and will serve students who are undocumented and uninsured at no cost.

Complete the application and approved applicants will receive assistance with transportation to support the health, education and financial success of clients.
Mental Health Services
School Based Mental Health Services
School based Mental Health services provided at each Madison City School. Contact your child's school counselor to discuss the referral process.
Food Resources
Alabama Food Stamps Application- Click HERE
Weekend Food Bags are available at each school for low income families. Please contact your school counselor to have your child signed up for this.
We partner closely with Trinity Baptist Church, who has a food pantry that is designated ONLY for Madison City Schools Students. In order to qualify for a food box, a student needs to be identified as low income, or have a special circumstances that place them in need. If you are in need of this resource, reach out to your School Counselor or School Social Worker.
Asbury Church also has a Food Bank that families can go to anytime Monday- Friday. If a family is unable to go by the church, please contact your School Counselor or School Social Worker and we can arrange for Asbury to delivery food to the home.
House of the Harvest provides FREE Breakfast every Saturday from 7:30-9:00am. Food Distribution is every Saturday from 7:30-9:00am as well.

2-1-1 helps find resources to assist with health and human services, such as food, housing, utilities, health and mental services, and financial needs.
2-1-1 utilizes both bilingual Call Specialists and a phone based translation service to offer 2-1-1 information and referral in over 150 languages.
