ATHLETIC DEPARTMENT - Week of January 14, 2024
HIGH SCHOOL ATHLETICS

Entry fee for boys/girls basketball and wrestling: $3.00 per person
GIRLS VARSITY BASKETBALL
EHT girls defeated Haddon Heights 58-57 in overtime. Skyler Wood made a shot from the short corner with just under 5 seconds to put EHT ahead. Averie Harding scored a career and game high 38 points. EHT improved to 11-1.
EHT girls defeated Atlantic City 54-47. Averie Harding continued her hot streak scoring 32 points. EHT's scoring was rounded out by Ava Kraybill 8, Lyla Brown 6, Alina Gonzalez 5, Katie Keenan 2, and Mariah Newman 1 point(s). The girls improved to 12-1.
EHT girls defeated Hammonton 48-33 to improve to 13-1. Averie Harding led the Eagles with 22 points. EHT had 8 different girls score: Lyla Brown 7, Alina Gonalez 4, Skyler Wood 4, Mariah Newman 4, Ava Kraybill 3, Katie Keenan 2, and Kaitlyn Wiggins 2 points.
BOYS VARSITY BASKETBALL
Boys basketball is in on a losing streak but look to get back in the winning column next week with games against Mainland, Millville, Ocean City, and Burlington Township.
BOYS WINTER TRACK
The Boys Track Team competed at the Group 4 State Relays. There were over 60 teams competing. The 4X800 Relay team composed of Amir Halim, Chase Mazur, Aaron Wagner and Christopher Manzo came in 4th place. The Pole Vault relay of Sawyer Schmidt and Matt Robertson came in 4th place. And the Shot Put relay of Mike Simeon and Noah Holliday came in 6th place.
GIRLS WINTER TRACK
The girls' track and field team competed at the NJSIAA State Relay Championships. The DMR (distance medley relay) came in 6th place. The relay consisted of Paige Pacquing, Amari Pinkett, Taylor Rooney, and Kiki Schlemo. The entire team did an outstanding job.
WRESTLING
Wes Henderson won his first career varsity match this week during the wrestling team's blowout win over Atlantic City on Wednesday.

HIGH SCHOOL SPORTS REGISTRATIONS

· All Exams must be submitted digitally though your online registration.
· No hard copies, emails or faxes will be accepted.
· Re-Cert packets and COVID Forms are now part of the registration question/process. No hard copies needed.

· Please review the appropriate registration dates for your interested season found on the registration page. · You do not need a physical to register, but must have an exam uploaded seven days prior to your first tryout.
WINTER SPORTS HAVE BEGUN.
REGISTRATION FOR SPRING SPORTS WILL BE JANUARY 1ST - MARCH 1ST.
Middle School Winter 1 sports are under way! Winter 1 sports include Boys' and Girls' Basketball, Wrestling, and Unified Bowling.
Winter 2 sports includes Co-ed Volleyball and Unified Basketball. Registration will be Dec. 1 - Feb 15. Practices will begin February 21. REGISTER NOW FOR WINTER 2!
