Hello All,

Welcome to February. Two things to keep in mind as you use the library this month:

1. Our Food for Thoughts discussion topic is Water, and we’ll have a guest from Northern Colorado Water joining us to provide expertise. We only have breakfast this month, and the discussion is nearly full—if you want to sign up, call us right away.

2. For those of you taking care of younger kids, we have a new Storytime on Wednesday afternoons at 4:00. It’s perfect for bringing all the kids after school. We still have our morning Storytimes on Wednesday and Fridays, and registration is not required for any of them.

We hope you’ll continue to enjoy these long winter evenings curled up with a good book or a good movie. Let us know if there’s anything we can help you find!

We are fully open to the public! Come on in to see us 10am-6pm Monday through Friday, and 10am-4pm (closed from 12-1pm for lunch and cleaning) on Saturdays.

Curbside hours are constant every day, Monday through Saturday, from 10am until 5pm. Please email us at curbside.bcld@gmail.com or give us a call and let us know what we can gather for you. We'll arrange a time to pick up for contactless delivery.

On February 2nd, we will have classes visiting throughout the day to learn about Thermal Imaging.

It will be available to the public from 4pm to 5pm, so come check it out!

Story time will continue throughout the month on Wednesdays and on Fridays at 10:30 a.m.

Ms. Christy has a new story time to start off the year. Along with her Wednesday and Friday morning story times, she will also have story time every Wednesday afternoon at 4pm.

Starting in 2022, Take up Space will start meeting on the 1st and 3rd Thursdays of the Month at 4:30PM. February's dates are the 3rd and 17th!

Each meeting, there will be an optional journal prompt and optional art activity. They are optional so the teens/tweens can have more freedom with what they create.

This month we are shaking things up a little bit! We will have a special guest visiting from the Northern Colorado Water District. We are so excited and hope you will be too. There will only be a breakfast this month, so make sure to call or come in to secure your spot as space is limited.

The breakfast will be on February 18th at 8am.

Come make fairy jars with Crafter's Corner on February 18th from 1-3pm! Call or come in to register. 18+.

Crafter's Corner is held on the 3rd Friday of every month from 1-3pm, so if you're unable to make it this month keep a look out for next month's craft.

Book Club will meet on February 22nd at 1:30PM and 6:30PM over the book The Midnight Library by Matt Haig.

Our Compelling Issues Book Club will meet every other month to discuss a title that is particularly thought-provoking. Next month's book is Automating Inequality by Virginia Eubanks. The discussion will take place at 1:30PM and at 6:30PM on March 15th at the library. Registration is required. 18+.

Knit & Crochet Drop-in is back! It will meet on Friday the 25th of February from 1-4PM.
