Carver Family Newsletter

We have had a very successful first month of school. We are in the full swing of teaching and learning and things are going well.

Over the next few weeks, we will have many celebrations and festivities, and I hope that this newsletter helps clarify the current events at Carver!

Congratulations to our students who achieved excellent attendance for the first month of school!

Students who achieved 91% or higher in attendance have been invited to Lemos Farm and Petting Zoo in Half Moon Bay, CA. We will visit this park on Friday, September 30, 2022 and field trip slips were sent home this week.

Trip slips MUST be returned by Tuesday, September 27, 2022 so that we can order the proper number of lunches and admission tickets. No slip, no trip. No exceptions will be made.

Remember, attendance is comprised of days present in school, as well as on-time arrival (before 8:40 am).

Students have already began to ask what our next celebration for excellent attendance will be!

Congratulations to our Beacon Program for launching their school year program! We are off to a great start in all things afterschool!

Our first Family Friday will be held on Friday, September 30, 2022 from 4:00-5:30pm! Please join us in celebrating Beacon Back To School!

Also, congratulations to Mrs. Damanique Ia, who has been named at the new Beacon Assistant Director!

Carver's Fall Picture Day will be Monday, October 24, 2022!

Please ensure that your child is in full uniform on that day. Information about photo packages and pricing will go home within the coming weeks.

We will not have a make-up picture day.
