FEBRUARY
Month of February
February 19th - Closed (President's Day)
Please be advised, PPCSD has used three (3) of the five (5) emergency closing days planned for the 2023-24 school year. As a result, the district has just two (2) emergency closing days remaining for the rest of the winter weather season. In an effort to keep spring recess intact, we have decided to cancel the recess day scheduled for Friday, February 16, 2024. This will allow this district to utilize an additional emergency closing day, if needed. The 2023-24 School Calendar will be amended at the February 7, 2024 Board of Education meeting to reflect this change, and school will be in session on Friday, February 16, 2024.
In the event that the PPCSD has an emergency closing day(s) remaining at the end of the year, the “give back day(s)” will be scheduled after spring recess.
Thank you for your support and understanding.
Dr. Brian Timm
Superintendent

Attention 10th Grade Families
10th grade families,
The guidance department will be hosting a field trip to CTI on February 6. CTI, the Career and Technical Institute, provides an opportunity to Juniors and Seniors for a variety of programs. We have attached the CTI field trip permission slip as well as a list of program they offer.
The permission slip needs to be returned to guidance on February 2. The students will have to opportunity to sit in on 2 programs, so please let us know their two choices as well.
Any question or concerns please contact the guidance office.
