Welcome Back from CEPS Dean - Dr. Kimberly White
Welcome to the 2023-24 academic year!!! The College of Education and Professional Studies (CEPS) has a new home and we are excited for you to come visit. Also, we have embarked upon a journey of “Re-Imagining”. This journey has resulted in new department configurations and leadership which will help us expand our reach, forge new partnerships, and drive innovation in educator preparation and beyond.
As I reflect upon the 2022-23 year, I am extremely proud of the accomplishments and hard work of our faculty, staff, and students. Our team and fellow stakeholders made great strides in establishing our educator preparation program as the leading producer of highly qualified educators in the state. Additionally, candidates completing programs in Professional Studies remain the most sought-after professionals in their fields of study.
Moving forward, we are excited about the opportunities that the next academic year holds. We have set ambitious goals to further advance our Vision and Key Strategic Initiatives. To accomplish these, our team has committed to every member of the team being on the field. With your support, I am confident that the CEPS can continue to positively impact the future of education in the region, state, and nation.
