PARENT LUNCH DROPOFF
- It's important to note that students do not have access to a microwave at the school. Therefore, any food that needs to be warmed up should be prepared and heated beforehand.
- If parents wish to provide lunch for their child, they can drop off the food at the front office during their child's lunchtime. Please review student lunch times below.
- Additionally, the school has a policy of not allowing students to share food. Parents should ensure that any food dropped off is intended for their child only, and not for sharing with other students

COUNSELOR'S CORNER
FROM THE DESK OF MS. GONZALEZ
DID YOU KNOW?
Each PK-6 homeroom has a guidance lesson with Mrs. Kelly Gonzalez, the school counselor, once or twice each month. I go into their classroom, and we talk about things such as making friends, being our own problem solver, homework tips, managing stress, etc. I use books, short videos, and fun activities to help students learn about these topics.
A referral button has been added to the newsletter for referrals to school counseling. Feel free to complete the form and submit. we will follow up with the scholar referred. Please note that we abide by the limits of confidentiality. Student counselor visits are confidential except when some one is being hurt, hurting others or hurting themselves.

Show interest in your child’s schoolwork each day (a great way to stay on top of what they are learning) — and offer help if needed. Read aloud every day, even if just for 15 minutes. This will go a long way to support your child’s literacy growth. And find lots of ways to encourage your child to explore their interests — such as visits to the library, taking local field trips, listening to kid-friendly podcasts, and doing hands-on activities that encourage creativity and critical thinking.
