Drinking Water Updates

The campus drinking fountains will remain off-limits to limit the number of surfaces touched by students during the instructional day. Below you will find three options to assist students with hydration on campus.

1. Students are encouraged to bring their own water bottles or reusable water bottles daily. Water stations are available for all students to refill their water bottles as needed.

2. During lunch, Nutrition Services has cups of water available for students. In addition, students also have access to on-campus vending machines with water and Power-Aide options.

3. CHS recently purchased reusable water bottles for all students. Once the water bottles arrive on campus, they will be passed out to all students within their English Language Arts courses.

ASVAB TESTING - 9/27/2021

Attention juniors and seniors: Are you interested in a career in the military? We will be offering the ASVAB test on Wednesday September 29th at 7:30 am in the Career Center. If you are interested in signing up, please visit the counseling office as soon as possible. Space is limited.

Attention Lions! BSLA, the Black Student Leadership Association, will be meeting in the career center after school every Wednesday! Join us to celebrate Black culture, learn Black History and discuss current events in our community.

Carter Public Library Now Open

Afterschool from 3:00pm - 8:00pm

Saturdays 9:00am - 5:00pm

Students need a county library card to check out books. Time to check out a new book or read an old favorite.

Baseball

All those interested in playing baseball at CHS must attend a mandatory meeting at the baseball field this Friday, September 17th directly after school. Information about clearance, practice times, and information about tryouts which start September 29th will be provided at the meeting. For more information please contact Coach Rosalez in the PE area or on the baseball field after school.

San Bernardino Valley College

Are you interested in taking college courses during your time in high school? Classes start in January, 2022. 9th,10th or 11th grade students with a 2.0 or higher are eligible to sign up, if you are interested go see your counselor.

Senior Sunrise

The Senior Sunrise will be September 22nd @ 6:15am on the Carter Football field! All Covid Protocols will be enforced. Student need to arrive at 6:00 for check in.
