Next week is our Literacy Week with the Book Fair, Literacy Night and Theme Dress Up Week!

We have a huge amount of coats, shoes, water bottles, and lunch boxes in our lost and found. We will have these items displayed during Literacy Night on Thursday. Please look through the items to see if you can identify any of them.

Students will be able to dress up next week with the following themes. All costumes and decorations need to follow school dress guidelines, including shoes with heels (so they don't fall off when they run).

Monday: Read My Shirt Day - Students wear a shirt with words on it for others to read. *The more words the better!

Tuesday: Storybook Dress Up Day - Students dress up as your favorite storybook character.

Wednesday: Reading Gives us Superpowers! (Come to school dressed in your favorite superhero shirt, or a shirt that makes you feel powerful.)

Thursday: Cozy Up With a Good Book Day - Students may wear school appropriate pajamas (no slippers or slides) and bring a "friend" to read to (stuffed animal that can fit in their backpack).

Friday: Tyger Pride Day - Students wear as much Tyger-Wear as they can!

That's right, Springmill STEM is having a Book Fair! Students will be able to buy books (and other items) during their library time the week of Nov 14-18. Parents/guardians can actually put money in an E-wallet so you don't have to send cash to school. Students just take their books up to check out and the librarian will look them up and check them out using the money you have loaded. The link to set up your E-Wallet Digital Payment is Below!

ALSO - We will be having a Family Literacy Night during Book Fair week on Thursday, November 17 from 5:30-7:00. There will be activities, food and prizes! Make sure you mark your calendar

Springmill STEM is going to be participating in an attendance challenge during the second quarter. The classrooms with 1) the best attendance and 2) the most improved attendance from first quarter will win a field trip to the Art Center! Please help your child's class win by making sure they are at school every day. (Unless they are seriously sick of course!)

Miss Carrier's 4th grade class won AGAIN in week two in both categories! Her class had the best attendance AND the most improved. Great job guys!
