In Loving Memory of Stacey Bragg- IHS Math Teacher and Senior Advisor/Graduation Coordinator
As some of you are aware our beloved IHS math teacher and senior graduation advisor, Stacey Bragg, had been battling cancer for quite some time now. Most recently she had been dealing with other health complications that had prevented her from being at school and from attending the annual senior grad bash field trip that took place this weekend.
It is with a heavy heart that I share that our good friend, colleague, and beloved teacher has passed away. We remember her for her big heart, her strength, her kindness, her love for her students and in particular her seniors. Please keep her family in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. We will share more information with you as it becomes available.
Sources of Strength Week - In Honor of Stacey Bragg
WHAT:
The Sources of Strength program is designed to harness the power of peer social networks to create healthy norms and culture, ultimately preventing suicide, violence, bullying, and substance misuse. The mission of Sources of Strength is to prevent adverse outcomes by increasing wellbeing, help-seeking, resiliency, healthy coping, and belonging.
HOW
This week we will harness the power and influence of all student and staff voice to spread messages of Hope, Help, Strength, and Healing in our school community. This is also a kickoff for testing season and students and staff will engage in various activities throughout the week to help us #FINishStrong.
NOTE: We will have additional counselors staff on campus throughout the week to support students and staff as we remember Stacey Bragg.
