If you have not been assigned an alternate location or you will be joining the Vanguard Team on Tuesday, January 5, 2016. Our locations are as follows:

• College Football Hall of Fame
• Center for Civil & Human Rights
• Chick-fil-a HQ
• Delta Museum

You will sign up to attend at ONE of these locations. More information regarding the day will be sent before break begins. In the meantime, please RSVP for a location ASAP!

Happy Holidays! Your gift is NO DECEMBER REFLECTION! Also, I have currently turned off access to the reflection spreadsheet. I will reopen it again in 2016! If you have a question about your own reflections, please let me know.

As you know, Vanguard members in cohorts 1, 2, and 3 are required to do a total of 8 TIM-Os (4 first semester/4 second semester).

I HAVE NOT and WILL NOT be checking your TIM-O entries until the new year begins. If you have not yet had time to complete your fall entries, please try to do so.

Remember, you DO NOT have to leave your classroom/instructional time to complete these. If scheduling is difficult, simply look at lesson plans for your the individuals you're coaching.

This week I visited with Mark Poole at Hopewell MS. Mark shared how he and the teachers at Hopewell are using their new learning spaces, and how he uses flexible pacing to best meet the needs of his students.

The Personalized Learning action being taken in Fulton County Schools is getting noticed throughout the country. The success of that work is due to the efforts of the amazing individuals working tirelessly to do what's best for students - including the Vanguard Team. You will leave this webinar with ideas to put into place tomorrow to challenge your students and keep them reading and learning all through the winter break.

• Resources, both print and digital, for creating a customized student holiday challenge
• Free digital resources to keep students engaged
• Suggestions to get teachers and parents involved
