What a Great Start!
Thank you families for attending our beginning of the year Parent Information Nights. A successful ACE program is not possible without the support of each ACE family. During these meetings, families learned important information about the academic goals of the ACE program, attendance expectations, behavior expectations, and the enrichment opportunities offered to each ACE student. If you were not able to attend, please contact your child's ACE campus site coordinator for more information. See site coordinators' contact information is below.

LEGOs and STEM!
During the month of October, ACE students will engage in skill-building challenges featuring LEGOs. Our students love building with LEGOs. These fun LEGO STEM activities give our ACE students hands-on practice with Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math. Using LEGOs also gives our students opportunities to create unique designs. The life-enhancing skills they learn during ACE will serve them in years to come.

From the Director's Chair
Greetings ACE Families,
We have had a wonderful start of the school year. I am so pleased with the amount of returning students to our program. This proves that families like what we are doing and are ready for another incredible year. I encourage parents to engage in conversation with our students about the amazing activities and projects they engage in during ACE. You will find that we will continue to offer opportunities for academics, enrichment, and family engagement.
We have a Spooktacular “Lights On” event in October, that will knock you off your feet. Please look for information to come home from your campus Site Coordinator and we have attached a flyer to this newsletter. I would also like to invite parents/guardians to participate in volunteering for special events and day-to-day ACE programming.
As always, thank you for allowing our students to participate in the ACE program and we look forward to seeing you this school year.
Sincerely,
Billisha Rice
ACE Project Director
