Happy Weekend to our IGA Family!
We’ve had a great first week back from the holidays, and our students and teachers have been focused on jumping back into learning!
On Thursday, we sent home the Term 2 report cards with some attached notices. Please make sure that you have received those from your students. If you need to set up a parent conference or have any questions, please reach out to us on our main number, 478-353-8477. Also, the teachers will be scheduling our second round of parent conferences soon, so be expecting the contact.
Congratulations to our middle grades Students of the Month for December! The character trait for December was “Joyful” and these students certainly exemplify that trait! Their parents are invited to come to school to have lunch with them this Friday.

We look forward to seeing you all this upcoming week!

Happy New Year IGA Family!
As we prepare for the second half of our school year, I am certain that 2023 will be the BEST year yet! It has been a short but busy week at IGA, with an abundance of smiles, laughter, and learning. In keeping with New Year’s Resolutions, students are setting new academic and behavior goals for the new year. What an EXCITING time to be an IGA Imagineer!
In an effort to be proactive in regards to safety, we will have an alternate afternoon route for parents to pick up students. The car rider line will actually “loop” at IGA to allow additional cars to enter the campus, rather than creating a potentially unsafe car line on Hillcrest Parkway. This will begin on Monday afternoon (1/9/23). Please refer to the additional information sent via Remind. See a visual below.
We are very excited to have a Georgia team playing in the 2023 College Football National Championship Game on Monday, January 9. In the spirit of the game, Monday is an official Georgia Bulldogs Day at the Irish Gifted Academy. Students may wear their UGA, red, and black attire to show their team spirit. The top DAWG in each classroom will receive 5 house points. GO DAWGS!!!
Our Character Trait for the month of December was Joyful. The December Students of the Month were chosen based on that character trait. The Students of the Month for December are as follows: KJ Thompkins (Pre-K), Stokes Windham (Kindergarten), Marlie Kate Harvey (1st Grade), Luke White (2nd Grade), Kenzie Hogan (3rd Grade), and Braylen Lewis (4th Grade). Congratulations!!! Parents are invited to eat lunch with the Students of the Month on Friday, January 13th.
Our Character Trait for January is Friendly.
