Greetings Falcon Community,

Serving as the principal of Cameron Ranch Elementary for a fifth year brings great joy and purpose to my soul. Our school community has gone through many changes and challenges over the past several years, which whole-heartedly illuminated our incredible strength and sense of pride. Collectively, we have leaned into our unity by honestly and authentically engaging with one another through partnerships with our students, families, staff and the community. We have designed, and will continue to build, unique and creative spaces that aim to educate the whole child through these early years in their learning journey.

Please Note:

Our first day of school is August 10th. We are so excited to welcome students to school!


We invite all Cameron Ranch Families to attend our Welcome Event on Wednesday, August 9th from 12:00pm to 1:00pm.


During this event we will distribute teacher/class assignments, school information, and provide an opportunity to meet teachers and staff.


Please contact the office if your family may need additional support for this event.

If you are unable to attend the Welcome Event, teacher assignments will be available through the Parent Portal on August 1st and tours are available by appointment by contacting the school office. Teachers may not be available to meet before school outside of this event due to trainings and additional support duties.


If you need assistance on the first day of school, August 10th, please contact our office. We understand some families may need additional layers of support for a variety of reasons. We are happy to help.


Please note:

We are busy getting ready to start the new year, so please know that teachers are available to meet families before or after school hours by appointment only. Families are invited to be near the blue tables outside the MP Room, the front of campus and in the courtyard for the safety of our students.Teachers are preparing for the day, around campus for additional support duties such as Car Line, Breakfast supervision, Walk Club, and more. Thank you for understanding.

IMPORTANT Annual Information Update

Please complete the Information Update "Re-enrollment" process through the Parent Portal. This is required for all families to update emergency contact information, and school funding forms.


If you have any questions or concerns, please call or email. We are happy to assist you.


Once in Parent Portal, you may also see your child's teacher/class assignment by clicking on the "Schedule" tab under your student's information page starting August 7, 2023.

PickUp/Drop Off, Parking & Traffic

Instructional Hours are 8:55am - 3:30pm (2:15 on Thursdays)

Transitional Kindergarten 8:55am - 12:15pm (Daily)

ILS-Special Education Kindergarten 8:55am - 12:55pm (Daily)


Morning Drop Off (8:20 - 8:55am)

Before 8:20am Campus is closed. There is no supervision.

8:20am Breakfast & Morning Supervision (MP Room & FIT Club)


8:40am

Grades 1-5 attend Walk Club on the lower blacktop

TK and Kindergarten students enter by the primary wing doors to classrooms

After 8:55 students must stop by office before going to class


Before and after school families must wait in the grass near parking lots, or near blue tables in the courtyard for pick up and drop off. Only staff and students are allowed on campus during school hours, unless volunteering for a specific event/activity. All visitors must check in at the office.


Lower Parking Lot

Family Parking in designated parking spaces only. Do not park along campus curbs, or loading zones.

TK-5 Car Line:

  • Students exit vehicles on the passenger side at the curb only. Staff will assist.
  • Do not leave your car at any time in the Car Line. If you need to leave you car for any reason, please park in a designated parking space, or along the street.


Upper Parking Lot

ILS Car Line, District Buses & Staff Parking ONLY

  • Students exit vehicles on the passenger side at the curb only. Staff will assist.
  • Do not use parking lot area for pickup/drop off.
  • Do not leave your car at any time in the Car Line. If you need to leave you car for any reason, park in the lower lot, or on the street.

What to Bring

We have basic supplies for all students, but we do need our Falcons to bring the following to school every day:


  • Closed toed shoes
  • Backpack If you need one, just let us know.
  • Water bottle
  • Snacks & Lunch (if not eating school lunch)

Write your student's name on all personal items with a sharpie. Many items get left on the playground daily. Lost items are moved to the lost and found bin at the end of the day.


Donations are always welcome!

  • Ticonderoga pencils
  • Crayola crayons markers, colored pencils, paint
  • Child size scissors
  • Plain plastic pencil boxes
  • Glue sticks
  • Baby wipes
  • Ziplock bags (all sizes)
  • Plastic grocery bags
  • Tissues
  • Individually wrapped, non refrigerated, store-bought snack foods (nut free)
  • NEW socks and underwear (for ages 4-12)

Cameron Ranch Elementary Action Teams for Education (CREATE) is a community collaborative volunteer group that supports school activities, family engagement and events on campus.


Community members, staff, family and students are welcome to join to support learning across campus and in every classroom.
