Timber Talks

What a great week! We are impressed by the high rates of attendance our students are achieving. We know they are excited when we announce the attendance percentages of each grade level during our assemblies, and we recognize that you also deserve acknowledgement and praise. Thank you for prioritizing your child's education and helping them to arrive to school on time, each day. Let's keep this trend going as we round out the school year, helping each student to achieve. The more they are in school, the easier it is to learn!

Please remember that there is no school on Monday, May 29th, in honor of Memorial Day. Students will return to school on Tuesday, and Friday, June 2nd will be a regular school day.

On Friday, our ABC Countdown has us on letter R - for Rainbow. Students will wear their identified class color:

• Kindergarten - purple
• 1st Grade - blue
• 2nd Grade - green
• 3rd Grade - orange
• 4th Grade - pink
• 5th Grade - yellow

Field day is coming soon and volunteers are requested. If you are interested in supporting field day and you have taken the steps to be a volunteer in the school setting, please reach out to your child's teacher.

In order to help you all know what the week looks like, we will list it out clearly for you each week. REID days for are invited students and will change each week. Students are invited to REID days for a variety of reasons. Sometimes it's to extend or challenge a student, and other times it might be to provide extra help on a particular skill. On those days, our doors open at 7:50 and dismissal is at 10:00am. If you have questions about this week's schedule, please let. us know!

• June 1st: Regular School Day - Q is for Quiet - FINAL day to order a yearbook

It is hard to believe that the 2022-23 school year is winding down. To continue our collective memory making opportunities we will participate in our annual ABC Countdown. Please help your child participate.

Technology Devices (ipads and chromebooks) need to be returned to school where they will now remain. Please also return the charger as they will need to be charged each day while the devices are at school for regular usage. Thank you.

My School Bucks is an online payment service that provides parents the ability to securely pay for meals, monitor student cafeteria purchases, and receive email notifications for low account balances.

Please note: currently, a convenience fee of $2.75 will be applied for each transaction.

All transactions are processed and applied to students' accounts nightly.
