Greetings!
This first marking period has been a productive one for Brick Schools! It is with pride that I share with you a glimpse into the highlights of our first marking period through our quarterly curriculum newsletter.
There are many achievements to celebrate from preschool through high school. Our youngest learners enjoyed a successful transition to school. Our elementary students have been setting goals and tracking their progress using computer adaptive software. They are improving their reading and language skills using Lexia Core 5 and building their math skills through i-Ready My Path. Sixth and seventh grade students are also using i-Ready and eighth grade students are using IXL. Our High School students are enjoying elective courses that enhance their reading, writing, vocabulary, and public speaking skills. They are even creating podcasts, which is the next generation of storytelling.
In this season of Thanksgiving, I would like to express my gratitude to you for your continued support. Your involvement in your child's education is invaluable, and it plays a crucial role in the overall success of our school community. As we give thanks for the achievements of the first marking period, we also look forward to the exciting initiatives and educational adventures planned for the coming months.
