Student Support Updates
Students and families who need one-on-one assistance with the FAFSA (and CSS profile), can make an appointment with Mr. Wong, who is a volunteer specialist who can assist with the completion of these forms. Mr. Wong is here every Thursday from 10 am until 2:30 pm - students can sign up for upcoming sessions on a clipboard in the Student Support Office.
In collaboration with Walker Therapy, Student Support has organized an After-School group called Living Out Loud (LOL), where students will learn about problem-solving, team-building activities, self-care, and reflection. Students are still welcome to join - it meets on Tuesdays at 2:45 pm.
AP fees and contracts are due November 6th and must be paid as soon as possible. Students must pay cash and can pay Mr. DeCristofaro, Ms. Gao, or Mrs. MacDougall in student support. All are required to take AP exams in order to receive credit for the course, and additional fees will be added if students do not pay for their exams by the final due dates.
Student Support will run a Field Trip to Merrimack College on Wednesday, December 6, 2023. Senior and junior students can sign up via Google form and collect a permission slip from Mr. DeCristofaro. A maximum of 40 students can attend, so it is on a first-come-first-serve basis.
Thus far, our Seniors have applied to 141 colleges and universities nationwide. Click here to see the list.
Bridgewater State University will attend NQHS for an Instant Decision Day on Wednesday, December 13th. Students can sign up using the Google form which can be found on the Student Support Class of 2024 Google Classroom.

Clubs at NQHS
North Quincy High offers many clubs over the school year. Next week, we will be hosting a club fair to introduce our students to all of the great clubs and activities we have at North. Please use the following link to access a list and description of the clubs we are currently offering. This Wednesday, September 20th, we will hold a Club Fair during all four lunches. This is an excellent way for students to get to know all of the clubs offered at NQHS. Click here
