By being a part of this group, you will…
Be a part of something bigger. Our program reaches over 500 youth each year! You have an opportunity to help us decide not only what programs we do, but also serve as a peer mentor and role model to younger youth!
Harness your strengths. We’ll take your leadership skills to the next level! Participating in this group is a great addition to your resume, job or college applications, and scholarship opportunities!
Meet new people and make friends!
Interested youth in the 6th grade or higher should sign up to be county ambassadors.
We will meet both in-person and virtually across Hennepin County. We’ll meet 1-2 times per month between October 2023 to August 2024, and do a good mix of planning meetings, outreach events, and fun, recreational activities. (We work hard and play hard too!)
HENNEPIN COUNTY 4-H FUNDRAISER
We will be doing a fundraiser with Simpls, a Twin Cities based company that makes delicious food from scratch using local, organic and regenerative ingredients. It’s a very easy online fundraiser! Simpls will provide us with an email template to send to your Twin Cities family and friends to order directly through their website. Simpls will then deliver the frozen goodies to their doorsteps!
Hennepin County 4-H will earn between 10-35% of total product sales during the four-week fundraising period depending on how much we sell.
Our promo code will be HC4H23 which you can share with friends and family during the duration of our fundraiser which will be from 11/6/23 - 12/4/23.
Tips and Tricks:
Send the template right away on 11/6/23 to everyone within your local network.
Watch our Social Media Accounts to repost advertisements on your social media accounts.
Check in with friends and family to be sure they received the email, or you could text them the promo code with the website www.simpls.com as a reminder.
