Frankfort School District 157-C
A Note From the Superintendent
September 1, 2023
Good Afternoon, Frankfort School District 157-C Families,
It was awesome seeing our students back in our schools today during the meet-and-greet events. There is nothing like the energy generated during the start of school.
We know your children are feeling excited and possibly nervous about the start of the school. The start of a new beginning always brings about many different feelings and emotions.
As a reminder, our mission is to ensure that our students have an exceptional learning experience, are provided a wide range of opportunities to pursue their interests, and feel a sense of belonging in our school community.
We have commemorated this commitment through the video below. We hope that after watching this video with your children, you will feel confident that our staff is inspired to bring out their best for all our students this year.
Chelsea Construction Project
This project, which was first envisioned by the Board of Education nearly five years ago, was delivered on time and under the approved financial budget. The new Chelsea will be enjoyed by current and future generations of students. The new renovation and addition is modern, conducive to learning, and built to increase functionality of daily operations to ensure an outstanding learning environment for students.
We were proud to "unveil" the building at Thursday's grand reopening of the building. Seeing all the excitement of those who attended showed us that the final building was worth the wait.
Please take a look at all the highlights of the new Chelsea school below in the attachment. We believe our students and staff will love being there even more than in the past.
