Many students wore green and gold outfits and accessories last Friday! The Harney Academy of Irish Dance performed at our assembly to celebrate St. Patrict's Day. Students were being great audience members and followed CARES assembly expectations. Special thank you to the Callahan PTA for sponsoring this performance!

Students are earning SO MANY CARES cards! Every Friday we will draw a Callahan CARES Champion from each letter. Keep an eye out for these amazing CARES cards going home!

Monday 3/20, is the start of Inclusion and Acceptance Week in all of the Norwood schools. Each day of the week has a theme, and all students will sign the "Inclusion" poster during their Gym/Wellness block. Please show your support!

Please send a note or call the Main Office if your child will be absent or if his/her dismissal plan has changed (ex. picking up child earlier for an appointment, getting picked up instead of riding the bus, etc.). That way we can ensure that your child is going to the right place at dismissal time.

FoVA’s Youth Art Benefit March 15th from 5:30-7pm

The Friends of the Visual Arts Norwood will be presenting its Annual Youth Art Month benefit on Wednesday, March 15th at Norwood High School’s Library from 5:30-7pm. The benefit is a gallery show celebrating the accomplishments of students in the Norwood Public School’s Visual Arts Department. Artwork from grades K-12 will be on display reflecting the district’s diverse and rich program. T-Shirts and raffles will be for sale as a fundraiser for scholarships and art enrichment opportunities. There is a suggested donation of $5.00 at the door. Hope you are able to join us on March 15th from 5:30-7pm at the Norwood High School’s Library, 245 Nichols St, Norwood, MA 02062. In case of inclement weather, the benefit will be held on March 16th from 5:30pm-7:00pm at the library.
