Our first order of business is realizing that to continue the quality of the Greenville Splash Masters team we need to implement annual membership dues. Everyone knows there are costs and expenses related to every business and the Greenville Splash is no different. Some of our expenses include; USMS dues, administration, phones, internet, email service, website hosting & design, marketing/advertising and team expenses. Therefore, we are now implementing a membership drive and requesting annual membership dues of $75.
We ask for your support in being an official member of Greenville Splash. We offer our members several swim facilities to get an awesome workout, the best coaches, team events, open water practices, clinics, and fun social events. Greenville Splash members know how to have a fun time in and out of the water. Please support our fabulous team.

Upstate Splash
The Upstate Splash 2015 charity inaugural open water swim would not have been an epic success without Greenville Splash as the host. The results from everyone’s contributions have allowed us to partner with two swim facilities, Westside Aquatic Complex and Greenville Kroc Center, opening doors of opportunity to influence over 200 at-risk and underprivileged children in our communities to receive scholarships for free swim lessons. Currently we have reached out to 65 at-risk and underprivileged children whom are enrolled at the Westside Aquatic Complex and are receiving swim lessons. Our vision has now come to fruition and we are not stopping this momentum.
We are very proud to share a few outstanding early announcements for 2016:
1. On February 10th the Upstate Splash has been recognized by the IRS as a 501(c)(3) Nonprofit and all contributions are tax deductible.
2. Olympian Chloe Sutton has joined the Upstate Splash to support our great cause.
On Sunday September 18th, Chloe has offered to lead a Youth & Adult swim clinic at the Greenville Westside Aquatic Complex.
3. 2016 Open Water Swim at Lake Jocassee has been scheduled for Saturday September 17th (Chloe will be attending this event)
We are currently looking for enthusiastic supporters that are willing to be an active board member for the Upstate Splash.

Free Adult Swim Lessons
We are excited to share that the Greenville Splash was awarded a grant from the USMS Swimming Saves Lives Foundation to provide free swim lessons for adults.
Spread the word!
Swim lessons will be held at the Salvation Army Kroc Center
May 16, 18, 23, 25, 31 and June 1
Lesson will be taught from 6:30 - 7:15 pm.
Our own Certified Greenville Splash Coaches and Volunteers will provide swim lessons for adults in our community that have a desire to learn how to swim.
We are still looking for a few more volunteers, let Leslie know if you are willing. Please share this information with others.
