• We would like to extend a special thank you to our Walk/Roll to School Committee for their hard work organizing a successful event on Tuesday. It was wonderful to see so many students and families walking to school!
• Parent/Teacher Conference sign-ups went out to parents on Tuesday. October 20th and 21st have been set aside for teachers to meet with parents. We ask that parents use these dates for their conferences. Teachers can arrange for a Zoom or phone call conference at the parent's request.
• We will celebrate Halloween on the afternoon of Monday, October 31st. We will have an all school parade outside (weather permitting). Morning kindergarteners will have a separate parade in the morning. More details will shared in the coming weeks.
• The weather has been changing daily. As the temperatures get cooler, please be sure to send your children with a coat or heavy sweatshirt.

Crazy 8s is a recreational math club for elementary school students. Its goal is to raise a generation of students who love numbers. It is designed to be fun, social, and lead kids to bond over math in a whole new way.

Crazy 8s Math Club will begin the week of November 7th and meet once a week, for 8 consecutive weeks (excluding school breaks). Crazy 8s Math Club is provided free of charge. During club sessions, math club members will discover patterns, solve mysteries, and create new learning. All activities will be NEW this fall, with no repeat lessons for returning participants. This is NOT a competitive club.

Lunch clubs will meet for 30 minutes during recess. After-school clubs will meet 3:40-4:30. Students in after-school clubs must have their own transportation home, no busing will be provided.

Westgate Garden Club is looking for student garden leaders! Do you like to be outside? Do like to work with dirt? Would you like to be a leader to determine what we grow in our garden? If so, Garden Club is for you!! Garden Club members will meet during lunch recess approximately 2-4 times a month during growing seasons (weather permitting). Garden Club is available to students in first through fifth grade. After enrolling you will be notified of your child's Garden Squad group based on grade level.
