Dental Health Month
February was National Children’s Dental Health Month. In observance of the month, school nurse Renae Kraus visited the kindergarten and first-grade classrooms at Clayton Ridge Elementary and discussed the importance of brushing, flossing, eating healthy foods, and visiting the dentist regularly. Dr. Mark Fohey and Dr. Jessica Wilke of Family Dentistry Associates of Monona provided new toothbrushes, toothpaste, and flossers for the students as well. Pictured left to right are Lane, Hadley, Jace, and Quinn who are all smiles (underneath their masks) with receiving their oral hygiene kits!!

EAGLES+ News
Ms. Geuder’s Class
Ms. Geuder’s EAGLES+ students have been creating tiny houses, games, and appliances the past few weeks. The second-grade students built appliances, desks, and robots out of tiny boxes. Third-grade EAGLES+ students created their own games, and the fourth and fifth graders built tiny houses. Some were tinier than others.
It was interesting to see all of their creative ideas. They put their creations in the hall so all of the other students could see them.
National Kindness Week Activity
These 5th-grade students are like donuts because they are so “sweet!” They sprinkle kindness everywhere they go!

Spanish IV Students Write, Illustrate, and Perform Children's Books
The Clayton Ridge Spanish IV students wrote original children's stories (cuento infantil) in Spanish. They created books, including illustrations, which were then laminated and spiral-bound. Great job to these CR seniors and their instructor Mrs. Cano! Enjoy their creative stories.
