Teams Sign-in on O365

You can click this link to watch a video about how to join a teams meeting through Office 365. To access teams features including chat, you can join using Office 365. Teams works best when students are signed-in or using Teams app rather than as a guest.

Reduce Background Noise in Teams

Library Lunch Bunch

Looking for a good book? Check out Sora!

Check out our ebook platform, Sora! There are now over 2,200 ebooks and audiobooks available to students. SCSD librarians have all been working hard to add titles to the collection this fall. There are some great holiday books too- just use the search box. Several classes have been introduced to our new ebook platform, Sora. Students and staff have access to ebooks and audiobooks through Clever. If you're just getting started, search for Syracuse City School District and begin exploring. 4th Grade American Revolution Unit

I've been pushing into a few teams meetings to support the 4th grade American Revolution unit. We've been working on creating "I wonder" questions, and learning about text features and primary sources while exploring library resources- Britannica & MyOn ebooks.

Holiday Stories

I love joining classes for a read aloud. I was able to join a few classes this past week to share a holiday story with students. A few of my favorites include: The Polar Express, Snowmen at Christmas, Click Clack Ho Ho Ho, and Fly Guy's Ninja Christmas.

5th Grade Westward Expansion

It was great working with Mrs. Baxter's students with their Westward Expansion unit. We explored Causes and Effects of U.S. Westward Expansion, while exploring text features and annotation tools in MyOn, and building background knowledge.
