May 10 Newsletter
Friday, May 10
As we approach the culmination of another academic school year, we look forward to celebrating our graduating seniors and their families. Our graduation ceremony will take place on Saturday, June 8, at 10:00 a.m. at Jacobson Field. We will livestream the graduation ceremony for everyone to enjoy. The link will be provided on Beloit Memorial High School's website on graduation day. Together, let us embrace this special day and celebrate this milestone as our students begin their journey into the next chapter of their lives.
Last summer, our schools hosted three family-friendly summer events to stay connected with your family. After the tremendous success of last year's events, we will once again host a series of fun and engaging activities for your entire family. We are eagerly preparing to make this summer's events more memorable and enriching.
Here's a sneak peek at what you can look forward to this summer:
Bingo Night, Donuts & Coffee with the Principal, Ice Cream Socials, Movie Nights, Family Picnics, Popsicles with the Principals, a SkyCarp Night, and more.
In my next newsletter, I will provide you with all the necessary details - event dates, times, and school locations. We look forward to making this summer a time of learning, discovery, and fun for our students and families!

Celebrating Teacher Appreciation Week
Recognizing our educators this week was a privilege. Through various initiatives within our schools, district, and the wider community, we ensured our teachers felt the depth of our gratitude this week.
Our teachers received a Proclamation from the City of Beloit City Council officially designating May 6 through May 10 as Teacher Appreciation Week in Beloit. We ran an engaging social media campaign on our website, Facebook, and in our school newsletters, encouraging people to nominate a teacher for recognition. The response was overwhelming, with 75 heartfelt nominations pouring in. Throughout the week, we spotlighted these recognitions on Facebook and posted them on our website.
