BCS Walkathon
We are excited to announce that our walkathon is just around the corner! Lace up your sneakers and join us on October 21st at McLean Park in Lake Jackson for a day filled with fun, fitness, and philanthropy. This walkathon is not only an opportunity to embrace a healthy lifestyle, but also a chance to make a positive impact in our school. Bring along your friends, family, and furry companions to enjoy the beautiful outdoors while supporting a great cause. Students have been sent home (or will be soon) with an envelope to collect flat pledges.
Would your child like a carnival day in December instead of going to regular classes?? There are (3) ways to receive this awesome prize! Collect $300 in flat pledges to ensure you can attend, Collect $6,000 collectively as a class to ensure your entire class/grade can attend, or if the school reaches it's overall goal of $80,000 then the whole school can attend. We have some other great prizes you can see by clicking the button below. We are excited for a little bit of cooler weather and a fun day with our Eagle Family. So mark your calendars and get ready to step up for a worthwhile adventure! We can't wait to see you there.
We also have an online auction for some fun school provided items including, but not limited too reserved seating at graduation, and a secondary parking space by the black gate just for you! Check it out at the link below.

PSAT - Reschedule - Oct 23, 24, & 26th
***RESCHEDULE***
The following students are set to take the PSAT from 8:00 AM - 11:00 AM. Students need to be on time to school and bring their computer to the Assembly Room.
8th Grade - October 23rd
10th & 11th - October 24th
9th Grade - October 26th
Taking the PSAT provides valuable insights, practice, and opportunities that contribute to your child’s future academic success. Students get a good sense of their future SAT scores and where their strengths and weaknesses lie which allow them to target areas they need to practice and improve on for the SAT. BCS provides a tool that gives students access to take SAT practice tests along with other useful information as they ready themselves for college. To access the Capstone SAT practice tool, please visit our website at https://1bcs.org/college-and-career/ for test prep courses, test prep practicing, and college connections. If you have any questions, please contact our secondary office.
