Mark your calendars on Tuesday, Nov. 15th for the 5th & 6th grade orchestra and band concerts! 5th grade orchestra and band will perform their informance concert at 6:30 p.m. and the 6th grade band and orchestra will perform their America concert at 7:30 p.m. in the BMS gym!

• It’s a COSTUME CONTEST, to have some fun together as a school!

• Show your school spirit by participating!

• Dress in 1 of 4 categories (or double-dip!) to have an

opportunity (or two!) to win SPOOKTACULAR PRIZES!

• Categories: PUNiest Costume. Dynamic Duo (or group). Best Celebrity/Famous Person/Character Look-Alike. Most Original.

• BONUS: The top three advisories with the MOST students participating will get DONUTS!

This past Saturday the High School Volleyball team volunteered at the Special Olympics State Volleyball Tournament held at Iowa State

The Toreador Theatre cast and crew is asking for donations of food, treats, and cleaning supplies for the Boone Humane Society who they have partnered with this year. Help our Toreador Theatre Cast make a difference in our Community!

'DORS Award: Do you know someone in your school or department who really "gets it" when it comes to exceptional customer service? If so, the Boone Community School District wants to recognize them to having a positive impact on students, staff and parents. Looking for a little bit of EDGE in your wardrobe? Look no further! The EDGE gear store is now open! The store is open now until November 7th at noon. All orders will be delivered to the school--watch for an update on when things are ready. We would love to see you in sporting some EDGE swag!

Some of our EDGE and FCS students had the opportunity to go to One Million Cups through the Ames Chamber of Commerce. They heard Ashley Redeker speak about starting her business in Boone, Modern Dress. It was a wonderful opportunity to hear about entrepreneurship in our community for our students! Thank you Ashley and Ames Chamber for this opportunity.
