Falcon Flyer
Belong. Inspire. Grow.
Straight from the Hardt
Hello Ridgeline Families- It’s another great week to be a Falcon! While we still have a good amount of classroom work to be done, we’ve started smattering in a few more opportunities for fun, just to help keep the brain engaged and active! For example, today, in bio-med, I tried my hand in a surgical simulation to remove an ovarian cyst. Then I stopped by a birthday celebration for a couple of our Italian exchange students. Later I threw axes at a target during AP-Palooza activities!
Speaking of fun… CVSD is looking for a couple parent volunteers to join the English/Language Arts curriculum adoption committee. If this sounds like the type of work you’d enjoy being a part of and you have some flexible time, please let me know and I’ll gladly pass along your name to the committee chair. Here’s what the commitment tentatively looks like: The work would involve a couple of half days in May(right away), a full day in August, and about 4 full days over the course of the 23.24 school year.
Ok, so how about some real fun? My picture today was with our Unified Soccer team during Thursday’s double-header. What a fun group of athletes and coaches to be around!
A lot of today’s newsletter is information devoted to Seniors. There’s a lot going on and it’s important for parents to assist with some of the activities so that their student can be properly celebrated. It’s a good heads-up for parents of current Juniors as well so you can start to plan for next year.
Do you want your son or daughter to get a job this summer? Ridgeline is hosting our very own Job Fair coming up on May 18. This is a great opportunity for part-time or even full-time employment. Students currently in grades 10-12 will have an opportunity to connect with 45 prospective employers from Amazon, to Silverwood, to Wagstaff. Other opportunities for employment can be found on our digital job board link below.
