Mrs. Thompson has taught school for over 12 years. Most of her teaching years were spent at St. Patrick School teaching ELA. She's taught 4th grade, the intervention lab, and now 6th grade Math at Central. Mrs. Thompson said, "My favorite part of teaching is spending time with incredible students hoping to achieve two things: stressing the importance of kindness while learning a little math along the way." She loves teaching with the incredible team and she's blessed to come to work with an amazing group of people.
Personal Information: Mrs. Thompson received her undergraduate degree from Texas A&M in Speech Communication. Both of her parents were lifelong educators. This helped Mrs. Thompson come to a point where she knew she wanted to teach. She left her original job in IT and eventually sought a teaching certification. Her husband, Robbie, is the Technology Director here at Central ISD. They have two children, Jordan and Peyton, who have both recently graduated from Texas A&M. When Mrs. Thompson is not working, she loves to spend time with my family and watch soccer!
