KIDZ RULE THE SKOOL
Today, our students took over the campus. Co-Principals, Annie and Emma Coles, started morning assembly by introducing their administrative staff, Bodie Miller as Technology Coordinator and Emme Gazzano as Development Director, as well as their teachers, Evey Kazak (K), Dylan Duerson (1), Stella Penwell (2), William McNutley (3), Charlotte Longyear (4), Beckett Rahn (5), Rocket Wetzel (6), Ava Lindner (7), and Brannan Silk (8).
Then they introduced a hula hoop competition between our students teachers and our adult teachers. Kudos to Ms. Wehrley and Ms. Jenks who brought the SVDP teachers to victory! Then there was a Cha-Cha Slide dance competition won by the third grade.
The office was very busy with candies, toys, balloons and other things that every principal needs to do their job. At morning recess, the fun continued with chalk, bubbles, and water toys. While there were clouds in the sky, there was no rain, but plenty of water. Many students were chilly going back to class.
The teachers led their classes in fun "learning" throughout the day. The co-principals treated the faculty / staff to a delicious taco bar and churro lunch.
Other highlights for the co-principals, using the PA system to get the entire school to perform the Hokey-Pokey and going to Lovin' Cup for a end of day treat.
