Connected is a show that keeps families and students plugged in and connected to everything that's happening in Gwinnett County Public Schools. You should receive a weekly edition directly from GCPS via email. This week, one of our SKG students, Sanai Wilkinson, served as the student correspondent. Great job, Sanai!

Our students have the academic help they need with Tutor.com/gcpl. Students can get one-on-one online tutoring in any math, science, social studies, and language arts subject. Live, online tutoring support is available daily through the GCPS partnership with Gwinnett County Public Library. In addition, students can receive “drop-off support,” 24-7 by uploading a document or a math problem for tutor feedback that will be reviewed and returned at a later time. The Free and Reduced Price Application for SY22-23 is currently available. A new application must be submitted each school year since the previous year's application will not work. The online application is available in English and Spanish. It's a very quick and easy process.

Gwinnett County Public Schools offers healthy meals every school day. Breakfast costs $1.50; lunch costs $2.25 for elementary and $2.50 at middle and high schools. Your children may qualify for free meals or for reduced-price meals. The reduced price is $.30 for breakfast and $.40 for lunch. Congratulations to our first Athletes and Coaches of the Month! Each month the Athletic Department will recognize a female and male athlete as well as a head coach and assistant coach. These individuals were nominated by their colleagues and coaches. Please help us recognize our Jags for the month of August.
