Hello Southfield Regional Families,
Have a Wonderful Mother’s Day
We would like to wish all the mothers out there a very Happy Mother’s Day! We hope your day is full of joy, and may you spend it surrounded by family and loved ones. This is your day!
However, just because there is only one day out of the year dedicated to you does not mean that every other day of the year shouldn’t be Mother’s Day. After all, being a mother is a 365 day, 24 hours, seven days a week job. It’s not easy, but know it’s recognized and appreciated.
So, this post is for you moms! You are the superheroes in disguise, the Wonder Women of our world, and we thank you for all that you do. There’s nothing like a mother’s love to give us all the strength we need to succeed.
Parents, please try to complete the Frontline Health Screening form below before sending their students to school. If your child has any of the symptoms on the health form, they must stay home and learn virtually until they are symptom free.

Meal Box Distribution
Students coming to school Monday-Thursday for half days can pick up meal boxes every Friday at one of these locations.

If parents/guardians are not able to make it during the times listed or do not have reliable transportation, they can send an e-mail or call the main office (248-746-8683) and they can be added to the meal delivery list. COVID-19 Testing for School-Aged Children
COVID-19 testing is available for school-aged children (4-17 years old) who have symptoms and are a resident or attend school in Oakland County. To schedule an appointment, call the Oakland County Health Division's Nurse on Call at 1-800-848-5533.

Southfield Public Schools implemented new learning platforms for scholars to meet with their teachers in the digital classroom. Learn about them here.
Parent and Family Digital Learning Guide
The Michigan Department of Education (MDE) is sharing a Parent and Family Digital Learning Guide recently released by the U.S. Department of Education (USED). The guide will help caregivers to understand how digital tools can provide learning opportunities, engage students, and enrich students’ educational experiences.

Chromebook Malfunction Support
Due to the rise in Covid cases, the Oakland Schools staff will be at the Technology Center for Chromebook exchange/pickups on Tuesdays, Wednesdays & Thursdays from 7:00 am- 2:30 pm
If you are having problems with your student's Chromebook (i.e. The cord doesn't fit, Chromebook won't come on even after charging, Chromebook won't accept your student's email address, etc), please reach out to our I.T. department.

Easterseals
For new individuals, they may call the Easterseals office at 248-475-2150 to get scheduled for intake. Easterseals will offer intake using telehealth and will continue to provide services using a telehealth platform. For those individuals that are utilizing their psychiatrist/doctors, they are using telehealth as well. People can call 248-475-6300 to get scheduled.
