Where is your child at in their course work? Ask them
Where is your child at in the COURSE WORK ? TALK and know that WE CAN HELP
THANK - YOU PARENTS WHO CHECKED IN WITH THEIR CHILD AND THEIR ONLINE LEARNING
Check- in with your child to see where they are at in their course work. Take the time to engage in the conversation.
We have a number of students who have not submitted assignments.
Help your child set up a routine and time to do their work.
If you need support please contact us. Our Family Wellness Worker Katie ... is great at setting up schedules for students based on their specific needs.
Please note that the admin will be calling homes this week to check on those students, as teachers have reached out already.
We all want SUCCESS and completion of course work.
Do you see Zero's on your child's assignment list in PowerSchool?
Zero is a place holder in PowerSchool. The course has been set up to "pace" assignments, with weekly due dates. If a student did not finish and submit an assignment prior to the due date a zero is automatically populated once the due date is passed. As soon as the student completes and submits the assignment for grading it is marked and a grade is entered. There is no-penalty for the student handing in the assignment late. The zero is a place holder only.
