Thank you, Cleveland Families, and Happy Lunar New Year!
Thank you to our Cleveland PTSA and the many families who volunteered to support our Winter Formal event! The evening was a huge success in part because many of you brought food, cooked a meal, volunteered at coat check, served beverages, helped decorate, and supported with set-up and tear-down. Cleveland is fortunate to have the family support that we do - thank you for helping make the night special for our students!
This week, we want to extend a warm welcome to you join us on Tuesday evening from 6:00 - 8:00 for our Lunar New Year festival hosted by Asian Student Union. Please join us for an evening of free food, raffles, activities, and student performances.

Important Info to Know
Free Mental Health groups!
Are you interested in your child joining free and confidential groups this semester? Cleveland is offering several different groups which will take place on a rotating schedule during the school day starting in March. Filling out this referral form does not guarantee a spot in a group. The results of this survey are confidential and only read by a school counselor or social worker. Please fill out this interest form to see what group options are available.
Open House was a great success!
Thank you PTSA for hosting morning refreshments at the Open House 2/3 for prospective CHS students last week. PTSA Sports Boosters were well represented! What a amazing turn out for interested students to join the Cleveland Family. We also want to give a special shout out to students Corrina Tanabe and Nathan Viradet who were MC’s and gave the presentation. The Eagle's Nest was packed!
🍕 Eat delicious pizza and support the Cleveland PTSA! 🍕
We’ve partnered with our friends at Tutta Bella to raise funds for the PTSA and here’s your invitation to participate. From Feb. 11-15, Tutta Bella is donating 20% of all net sales directly to Cleveland PTSA. If you are ordering pizza for the Super Bowl, Valentine's Day, or just because, please get it from Tutta Bella!
How it works:
Dine at one of Tutta Bella’s neighborhood restaurants or place an online order at tuttabella.com for delivery, takeout or curbside.
Use code "EasyAsPieEaglesPTSA" when you checkout online or at the restaurant.
Please share our code and donation details with friends and family! This fundraiser is valid at any Tutta Bella location (at Kirkland/University Village grocery store kiosks, orders must be placed from tuttabella.com – not the registers in QFC). Many thanks to Tutta Bella for their generous support!
The Seattle Promise deadline is February 16
The Seattle Promise is an opportunity for all SPS students to go to college for free after they graduate from high school, and the Seattle Promise application deadline is approaching on February 16.
The Seattle Promise Outreach Specialists are continuing to provide in-person and remote application support. Students can attend a virtual application workshop or contact their outreach specialist directly by email, phone or text.
Even for students who are on a four-year track, it only takes 15 minutes to keep this option open and available should their circumstances change post-graduation.
Students can submit an application to maintain eligibility here: https://www.seattlecolleges.edu/promise/apply
Take 5 minutes to complete the Family Income Survey
Finally, if you have not already, we are asking that all families complete the Family Income Survey. The data collected from this is directly connected to our school's funding. Please take five minutes to complete a form out today, if you did not already complete one at the start of the year.

Access for mental health services
Joon is a Seattle-based company that provides online therapeutic services for 13-24 year old clients. When students are signed up for services, they are matched with a therapist with expertise in their particular areas of need.
If this sounds like a service your student might benefit from, you can refer them right now, using this link. This service is free for Cleveland students and it is available through, at minimum, the end of this school year.
