Gala Volunteers Needed
Gahanna-Jefferson Education Foundation is a little less than 4 weeks away from its Annual Gala. Our theme this year is The Roaring 20's!
The foundation relies on volunteers to make this event possible and they humbly submit the Volunteer Signup link below for you or those in your network who may be interested in attending and volunteering. And, if nothing else you can get to dress up for the 20s! This is promised to be a fantastic event.

Art News
We are so excited to congratulate 6 High Point artists whose artwork is currently in an exhibition at the new Gahanna Library! One artist from each grade of each of our Gahanna elementary schools was chosen to be included in this year's Experience the Arts exhibition, spearheaded by GLHS student Finn Johnson. Congrats to kindergartner Ava M., 1st grader Khoi N., 2nd grader Fernando D., 3rd grader Zara T., 4th grader Gavin C., and 5th grader Fiona S. We are so proud of you! Head over to the Gahanna Library to check out these amazing artworks and the fabulous work of our other 6 Gahanna elementary schools!
High Point Community Celebration
Wednesday, March 6, 2024 5:30-7:00 pm
ALL High Point families are welcome to join us for dinner and an evening of celebrating the many cultures of High Point. We will provide some pizza, and families are encouraged to bring a small dish from their culture to share. Families can have fun playing games, making crafts, and learning about the languages and cultures of High Point. We hope to see EVERYONE at this special event!

GJPS Heart and Pride Nominations
Do you know a staff member who you feel makes a profound impact on students and Gahanna-Jefferson Public Schools? If so, nominate them for the GJPS Heart and Pride award. This award is open to any staff member. regardless of position. Each month, the district will take the nominations to the Heart and Pride Committee, which is composed of community members and former staff members. The committee will select two winners a month that will be recognized by our Board of Education at the monthly meeting. If you have a staff member in mind, please complete THIS GOOGLE FORM. Nominations can take place all year.

It is not too late to order your 2023-2024 yearbook! The yearbooks were offered originally for sale with our fall portrait packages but are still available for anyone interested.
Please visit the online sale site, book.hrimaging.com to order yours by February 9th! There is a message that will appear in an orange banner if you have already ordered one. The price of the book is $16.00.

Gahanna GALA
We are selling raffle tickets for the upcoming Gahanna Gala!
The tickets are $10 per raffle ticket or 3 for $25. The raffle is for $1000 CASH!
Tickets are $10 or 3 for $25. To purchase you can use the attached form or contact Laura Nice at lauraannnice@gmail.com or 850-345-2226. We accept cash, check (written to GJEF), or Venmo (@LauraNice). The winning ticket will be announced on 2/24/24, the night of the Gahanna Gala. The winner does not have to be present at the Gala to win!
HPE gets back 50% of all raffle ticket sales, so you're directly supporting HPE with your raffle ticket purchase. The winning ticket will be announced on 2/24/24 and the winner does not have to be present to win! Cash is accepted or a check written out to GJEF.
