BBE Spelling Bee

The BBE Spelling Bee was held on Friday, January 6. Congratulations to our winners:

5th Grade Field Trips

The Bear Branch 5th graders will be traveling to their zoned middle schools (CMS or KMS) for 6th Grade Orientation on Tuesday morning, January 24, 2023. If your child will not be attending their zoned middle school, or if they are not zoned to CMS/KMS, please complete the appropriate field in the 5th Grade Field Trip Permission Form. All students attending BBE Spanish Immersion program will be assigned to CMS, if students choose to continue in the program. Creekwood is the feeder school for the BBE SIP program.


Parents interested in Middle School Orientation information are invited to attend the 6th Grade Parent Information nights: Tues, 1/10/23 6:30 pm @ CMS, or Thurs, 1/26/23 6:00 pm @ KMS.


The Bear Branch 5th graders will also be traveling to BizTown on Tuesday January 31, 2023. Buses will depart Bear Branch at 8:30 a.m. and return approximately 2:30 p.m. Please pack a fully disposable sack lunch including drink for your child. An email was sent to parents on Jan 4, 2023 with details on BizTown curriculum training dates to become a chaperone. No adults other than approved chaperones are allowed on this field trip.

In order for your child to participate in both field trips, the permission form must be completed by Monday, January 30, 2023 at 12:00 Noon.

BBE Elmer's Fun Run Fundraiser

Bear Branch Elementary families!


We are excited to kick off our Elmer's Fun Run on 01/19/2023. Our goal is to raise $25,000 for new technology and to strengthen our school community.


Our school has always relied on fundraising to provide exceptional opportunities to enhance student learning and we need YOUR HELP registering your student(s) and sharing with friends and family.

Mental Health & Wellness Fair

Save the Date! 2/23/23


Humble ISD is hosting a Mental Health & Wellness Fair at Atascocita High School, February 23, 2023 @ 6pm. Our goal is to help decrease the stigma around mental health, provide tools and tips to parents and staff for improving their health. We know that relationships yield better results.

Bingo Night

Please join us in the BBE cafeteria on Friday, January 20, 2023, 6:00 - 7:00 pm for our PTA Social - BINGO night! Prizes will be awarded, and snacks will be served. Please enter through the back doors of the school.
