Holy Trinity Families,
It was great to see so many families at our walk-a-thon on Friday evening. Shout out to Anne Marie King, Dawn Sirl, Jenn Inkrott, Laurel Nunney and Renee Metera who planned this event. They have done a phenomenal job serving as our board these past 2 years. Thank you for all you have done for HTS!
We will start our week with the long awaited St. Baldrick's Brave the Shave event! As of now we have raised over $27,000 for childhood cancer research! Details on Monday's event are below. There is still time to donate! Parents are welcome to join us. Please enter through the main office doors and sign in. Thank you to Kelly Shaker who has organized this event.
Father Hawk went to St. Mary's this past week to meet with staff. We have a new Q and A page that has been added to our website if you would like to keep up with information regarding Father Hawk's additional assignment. https://htavon.org/news/avon-catholic-community-faq
Blessings,
Kim Kuchta
St. Baldrick's Update
We are very excited for our 7th annual St. Baldrick's event on Monday, May 22nd! We have 50 shavees and 7 ponytail donations registered, and together they have raised $27,000 thus far for St. Baldrick's and pediatric cancer research! Please keep going with your strong fundraising efforts!
- Mr. Mo (To Donate to Mr. Mo) $1,200 of his $2,000 Goal
- Mr. Nunney (To Donate to Mr. Nunney ) $350 of his $250 Goal
- Miss Yaggie Ponytail Donation (To Donate to Miss Yaggie) $350 of her $50 Goal
- Mrs. Cowdin Ponytail Donation (To Donate to Mrs. Cowdin) $225 of her $250 Goal
Shavees please make sure they wear your shirt to school on Monday.
Family members of participants are welcome to attend! The event will start promptly at 8:00am so please arrive no later than 7:50am. Please enter through the main office doors. The event should end around 9:45am. We can not wait to cheer on Mr. Mo, Mr. Nunney, Miss Yaggie, Mrs Cowdin and all of the shavees!
Hair braiding will cost $10 the day of the event and funds raised will be donated to Special Spaces. This is a great way for all students who are not braving the shave to be involved and support a local charity. There are a lot of boys with long locks that would look great with a few funky braids, so this activity is not just for the girls! There is no registration to have your hair braided, just send in $10 with them to school on Monday. Even if your child is not getting his/her hair braided, donations to Special Spaces in any amount would be welcomed. Please send cash (preferred) or a check (made payable to Holy Trinity.)
God Bless,
Kelly Shaker and Brigid Whalen

We rely on our coaches to fulfill our mission, which is to allow kids to have fun playing a sport while teaching and reinforcing our Catholic values, notably discipline, commitment, respect, and good sportsmanship. If you are interested in coaching, please contact our Athletic Director or appropriate sport’s commissioner ASAP. First time coaches must complete an application, which can be found on our website under “downloads” under the “home” banner and should be emailed it to the sport’s commissioner. Returning coaches should also contact the appropriate sports commissioner. All coaching candidates, including returning Coaching candidates, will go through an approval process by the Holy Trinity Athletic Association. First time coaches must also attend the CYO Coaches Certification Program and complete the required Virtus training.
