Leadership Students Inspired in Virtual Conference
Six students ranging from grades 9-11 participated in the virtual Canadian Student Leadership Conference (CSLC) from Oct. 6-8. Throughout each day they listened to keynote speakers ranging from Catriona Le May Doan, a Canadian Olympian, to the son and granddaughter of Honorable Murray Sinclair. They took part in workshops on using social media to enhance student life at a school, job prep, scholarships and more. They also had the opportunity to meet other Canadian students in their designated spirit groups and to do team building activities as a group of six. These three days generated a spark in each of these students. In November they will be running a 20k sock drive to help out in the community.
