Anyone Participating at the County or State Fair
*Beef (bucket calf, feeder calf, breeding beef, market beef)
*Dairy Cattle
*Goat (breeding doe, dairy goat, market goat)
*Poultry
*Rabbit
*Sheep (breeding ewe, market lamb)
*Swine (breeding gilt, market swine)
Youth may choose from two methods to complete YQCA requirements:
Online Training: details coming in April
Face-to-Face training held at Lincoln County Fairgrounds (Ag Building) Sign up at required prior to training (cost $3). Registration will be changing in March, instructions coming in April.
Sunday, April 24th 2:00-4:00pm
Monday, May 23rd 10:00am-12:00pm
Monday, June 13th 6:30-8:30pm
DEADLINE June 15th- To complete your YQCA Training and submit Certificates to the Extension Office.
2022 4-H Animal Nomination/Identification Requirements
Nebraska 4-H Horse Events
Virtual Companion Animal Challenge
The Companion Animal Challenge offers a variety of 4-H companion animal contests that don't require live animals, including a Demonstration Contest, Essay Contest, Art Contest, and Photography Contest. Youth have the opportunity to display their companion animal knowledge through these contests both as individuals and as part of a team.
The 2022 4-H Companion Animal Challenge will be held virtually. Online entry forms are due by 5:00 PM on April 1st. Entry fees will be $5 per contest. T-shirts are available for $15 through the entry form.

The 4-H Youth in Action Program
Nebraska Livestock Achievement
The Nebraska 4-H Livestock Achievement Program is designed to promote all educational aspects of 4-H livestock projects including selection, production, leadership, and exhibition by recognizing youth striving to improve in their livestock project knowledge and leadership.
The program recognizes Members of Excellence across all 4-H livestock project areas, including beef, sheep, meat goat, swine, dairy cattle, dairy goat, rabbit and poultry.
