News from Mrs. Hargrave and Mrs. Gotfried
As we approach the finish line of the 2020-2021 School Year...
We know this time of year can be challenging as students are tired and we're sure, as parents who have been managing at home learning, you must be tired too! We want to remind you that we are here to support you as we cross that finish line. We are available for extra check ins to help motivate your child or an ear to listen and problem solve with you if you need some support.
We want to thank you for partnering with us this year--a year that will go down in history as one full of challenges and triumphs--we couldn't be more proud of our students, our families, our teachers, staff, and everyone who came together to educate our children this year.
In this newsletter you will find information about wrapping up the year in SEL and some resources to help you finish the year strong.
Thanks for all you do as caregivers. We appreciate you!
Sincerely,
Mrs. Gotfried and Mrs. Hargrave

The Transition to Middle School
Attention Future 6th Grade Parents!
Fifth grade teachers will be reviewing a transition to middle school lesson with their students in the coming weeks. If you'd like to review it or go over it with your student, you can click the button below to view the lesson. There are clickable links in the lesson and videos to help your child learn how to open a combination lock so they know how to open their lockers.
We also hope your child will join us on June 4th, 11th, and 18th from 11:40-12:10 for a middle school zoom room to share their thoughts and feelings on the transition to middle school and to ask any questions they have. We will post the link to the zoom room on Seesaw and share with teachers. We hope to see them there!
