summer programming
Our program directors have been working hard to create fun and meaningful experiences for students this summer. Biddeford Jumpstart and LearningWorks are partnering to create programming for Rising K-4 and 5th-grade students, and our K-12 Multilingual Learner Summer Academy are excited to provide great opportunities to expand learning. Programs will run at various lengths in July and August at Biddeford Middle School. Student selection will be prioritized based on student achievement data and teacher recommendations. Interested families can reach out to their child's teacher for additional information. Families will be notified through the referral process as quickly as possible so families can plan. We look forward to another fun summer in Biddeford!

Grade Level Configuration
A Grade Level Configuration Committee has been established with representation inclusive of school board members, district administrators, teachers, and parents. Meetings were held on April 28, May 5 and May 19, where the committee began discussing what grade levels will be housed in each building. Over the coming weeks, the committee will explore multiple options to develop the best plan to meet the needs of our students. Information can be found on the district website by selecting the Grade Level Configuration tab.
