Teachers make a difference at any distance...
Windsor Families,
We are overwhelmed by the amazing support the community has shown for our families in need this holiday season! We have received 110 gift cards from you! Our snow globe is full, see picture below. Thank you! In addition to the 110 gift cards, Windsor staff raised $3,040.00 that we will be purchasing additional gift cards with. Windsor Cares and Windsor staff raised a combined total of $5,375.00, what an amazing partnership!!! We cannot thank you enough, gift cards will be distributed to our families next week!
Next week is our annual Windsor Holiday Spirit Week!
Please see below for a unique way for your child to dress each day. Please DO NOT buy anything extra for these activities! They have been created so that kids can easily use what they have at home to celebrate the most wonderful time of the year!
Monday (12/14) - Wear your holiday red
Tuesday (12/15) - Dress in your best festive blue
Wednesday (12/16) - Wear your favorite holiday PJ’s
Thursday (12/17)- Dress up like an elf day or wear a holiday hat
Friday (12/18) - Wear your favorite holiday sweater
Please see the Help Needed flyer below. Many district 25 schools are in need of lunch supervisors, recess supervisors, registered nurses, substitute teachers, and more.
Important information:
- Please remember to stay in your cars at arrival and dismissal if you are in the Drop & Go Line on Windsor Drive or in our Main Entrance circle. If you would like to meet your child outside of your car, please park on any of the surrounding side streets and walk-up. This is so important as it keeps the line moving and our streets/intersections safe for walkers and less congested for cars.
- Students should never be crossing Windsor drive unless they are in the crosswalk with our crossing guard. Please meet your child at that intersection and do not have the children cross in the middle of Windsor Drive for their safety.
- Just a reminder, there are NO pets allowed on Windsor property, we have many students with allergies.
- When calling to report an absence please refer to the self-screener, https://www.sd25.org/Page/1506, and list any of the symptoms your child is exhibiting in your voicemail. If your child has a fever, please state what the temperature is.
Please continue to check the Windsor Hybrid FAQ.
Have a wonderful weekend!
Thank you,
Mrs. Anastacio and Mrs. Soprano

Hi Parents!
You all are doing such a fantastic job of communicating with us, thank you so much! We have had a great week! Keep letting us know when someone in your family has any symptoms or your child has symptoms of illness. WE APPRECIATE IT and you are participating in helping our Windsor community be a safe environment for everyone!
QUARANTINE UPDATE: You may have heard the CDC has changed some quarantine guidelines to people who have been exposed to someone who is positive for Covid. The CCDPH have not updated the official guidelines yet and we follow their guidelines. For now it is required to still quarantine for 14 days.
MASKS: Thank you to those of you who have donated masks! If you have any you are not using, we accept gently used, clean cloth masks. Also, please remember to launder your cloth masks after using each day.
As always, please let me know if you have any questions or concerns.
Thank you and stay well!

Measurable snow this weekend? Bring it on! If it doesn't happen, and you have disappointed children at home, take a peek at this blog entry from Frugal Fun for Boys and Girls. It's the best one I've seen in teaching how to cut the perfect snowflake! And, if your family can't get enough of a Galaxy Far Far Away, and really want to up your snowflake game, check out Anthony Herrera Designs. This awesome dad has designed a bunch of different Star Wars themed snowflakes that your family can print and cut. I've tried them, they turn out awesome! Have fun playing in the snow this weekend, be it the real stuff or paper! ~Mrs. Stella
