Middle School Parent Information Night

Tonight, Tuesday, Sept. 12th, we will have a Middle School Information Night from 5:15 - 6pm. Parents will meet in the Gym for general Middle School Information and also in the Homeroom class of their student for grade specific information. We hope that you are able to attend!

Chorus News

Any students who are interested in joining chorus this year should submit an application to Mrs. Cacko by Thursday, September 21st. This year, rehearsals will be held during the school day unless otherwise specified. Chorus requires a commitment of weekly or biweekly practices, First Friday Masses, and two concerts: winter and spring. Please contact Mrs. Cacko with any questions: cacko@fatherandrewwhite.org

Prospective Chorus members (grades 4-8) are also invited to sing for 11:00am Mass at St. Aloysius this Sunday, September 17th. The Cross Generation choir meets at 9:50am in the music rehearsal room in the hall immediately before Mass. This choir sings monthly. Being prepared can save you a lot of time and anxiety in most areas of life. When it comes to health, preparation can include having a supply of “as needed” medications, extra water bottles, and even a change of clothes for emergencies. At school, students often come to me requesting over the counter medications such as Ibuprofen and Tylenol, which I do not ordinarily dispense. If you wish; however, you can sign an authorization form and drop off medication to keep at school in case your child needs it. This can also include cough drops, chapstick, and dry skin lotion. Of course, all prescription medications need to be brought in with the form signed by the prescribing healthcare provider. Having extra clothes and hygiene products is actually a good idea for all of us; so you may want to have your child keep some of those items in their classrooms or backpacks, as well.

Fall Fun Day Returns!

After a four year break, Fall Fun Day will return to FAW on October 26th. Fall Fun Day is a carnival like morning for our students (and parents) with lots of games, activities, prizes and food. Mrs. Pietsch is chairing the event this year and she is looking for a co-chair to carry on Fall Fun Day next year. The co-chair will work with Mrs. Pietsch to secure vendors, prizes and volunteers. More info about Fall Fun Day activities and a call out for volunteers will be coming in October.

🏀 📣 Basketball and Cheerleading Season! 📣 🏀

The 2023-2024 Basketball/ Cheerleading season is here! Please return the attached interest forms if your child(ren) intend to participate this year. Please note: all forms are due by Tuesday, September 19th to allow coaches time to prepare for tryouts the next week. Following tryouts, coaches will be reaching out to all who tryout. Additional registration forms/ fees will be sent following tryouts.
