Water safety is so important for everyone raising children in South Florida, that’s why we are sharing the “Be Water Smart” booklets produced by the Drowning Prevention Coalition of Palm Beach County. Inside the booklet, you will find great safety tips as well as locations where you can get swim lessons. Here are the links for versions of the booklets in English, Spanish, and Creole. The booklets were produced by the Drowning Prevention Coalition and its partners.

The FY24 Student and Family Handbook is complete and available on the District Website in English, Spanish, Portuguese, and Haitian Creole.

The Eat Better Live Better organization is encouraging nominations from the community for its Teachers Giving Program. Teachers, students, and staff can also nominate their own schools. Florida Power & Light Company donated $10,000 to support this initiative. The winning school will be announced in early November. Nominations are due by Sunday, October 1.
