PTA GENERAL BODY MEETING
Monday, October 16th, 6:00-7:30 pm
Salish Coast Elementary
Please join us for the first general body PTA meeting of the year! There will be three of these meetings over the course of the school year, and they will rotate through the school campuses. (Each is for the whole district, even if it is not at the school you are affiliated with.)
At this one, we will take some time to meet and mingle, talk about plans and goals for the year, learn how to join a committee, and take care of some member-involved business. Some things to know:
- PTA Members, member-curious, and everyone else are welcome!
- We will offer childcare on site with a suggested donation of $5 per child -- please email porttownsendpta@gmail.com and let us know if you will be bringing kids so we can plan accordingly.
- Due to technical constraints, this meeting will not be broadcast on Zoom.
- Agenda and supporting documents are attached. Members (and others), please take a look as we will be voting on these materials!
- Not a member yet? This is a great time to join so that you can be a part of our first votes and collective decision-making of the of the year! (A family membership is $25 for the school year, and we offer subsidized memberships if cost is a barrier in any way.)
Thank you! The PTA is here to help foster a community of engaged public school families that work together to provide resources and enrichment for our students and schools. We look forward to working together to support all grade levels at all four schools in the Port Townsend School District, as well as teachers, administrators and staff.
