Important Updates
THANK YOU
Thank you to our staff and students for a great week at TNS. We had our first boys basketball middle school game, a combined orchestra/band/chorus concert, started December Spirit Days, and a full week of great instruction with our students. We want to make sure that every day counts at TNS and that students enjoy being at school. We have another full week next week, so please help your child be at school every day. We've added fun themes each day and the teachers have engaging instruction for them. Thank you for your support at home!

We are looking forward to this year's science fair on February 1st, 2024. The science fair will be optional for students in grades 3-8 who would like to do experiments and projects to submit for review. Students in grades K-2 will be doing class-based science projects with their teachers.
Mrs. Duncan, 8th grade Science Teacher, is leading the TNS Science Fair this year. She will be providing time and opportunity to mentor our young scientists as they complete their projects. OPERATION WARM
Operation Warm is a national nonprofit that manufactures brand-new, high-quality coats for children in need. Operation Warm's Mission: "Operation Warm provides warmth, confidence, and hope through basic need programs that connect underserved children to community resources they need to thrive. Operation Warm’s mission has always been focused on the whole child. Our tagline, ‘more than a coat’ means that the coats and shoes we provide don’t just provide physical warmth, but also emotional warmth, the confidence to socialize and succeed, and hope of a brighter future. We’re proud to say that over the last 23 years, these gifts have become a bridge between our partners and families in need to access critical resources.
Operation Warm would like to assist our students with supplying winter coats for families in need. If you are interested, please complete the following form Operation Warm Coat Request Form by December 20th.
