Principal's Message

Dear Slaybaugh Families,

We wish all our families and friends a Happy Passover and Easter and a restful, fun, and healthy Spring Break!!!

We look forward to seeing our students return to school Virtually on Monday, April 12th and In-Person on Tuesday, April 13th.

As per superintendent, Dr. Gruccio’s correspondence, dated March 31st, we are hoping to move to 5 days in-person during the week of April 26th. Upon our return from break a letter will be sent providing more detail regarding our final transition.

In addition, all virtual students will have one final opportunity to transition from all virtual to in-person instruction for the remainder of the school year. To date, I have had several requests, and I have generated a list, the final date for the request will be announced the week of April 12th.

Mrs. Simon's and Mrs. Claudia's class wore red while on virtual for Autism Acceptance Month

Mrs. Stuhltrager's class built a nest for a peep as our STEM project. The rules were they could use toothpicks and marshmallows and that the peep couldn't get poked by a toothpick!

Community Pride

Slaybaugh Renaissance is hosting a Pride Gear Fundraiser and will be selling 50th Anniversary T-shirts & Crew Neck Sweatshirts. If you are interested in placing an order please visit our online shop https://Slaybaugh-renaissance.square.site/ Items will be made to order so please allow a few weeks processing time. Orders will be sent home with students who attend in person as they are ready. Scheduled pick-up times will available for families of students who are virtual. All orders are due by May 1st.
