Dear Mayo Families,

A Book Fair, a Bumblebee and a lot of RESPECT! Our Choose to be Nice Kickoff was a success and the kids really rose to the occasion this week showing acts of respect to their classmates and staff. Having World Smile Day this week was a nice coincidence

Looking forward to a nice short 4-day week with Picture Day on Friday!

New things I learned this week at Mayo - Room 5 has a lot of ideas about Respect, being a bee is harder than it looks when it comes to stairs, and 4G earned a Pajama Day for good behavior!

If you are interested in joining the Mayo School Council, please fill out the attached Form. Successful school improvement is better accomplished through a planning and decision-making process that seeks meaningful participation from teachers, parents, and others at the individual school level. Meetings shall be held regularly with a minimum of six meetings scheduled annually. The School Council shall advise the principal regarding school level topics such as: adoption of educational goals for the school that are consistent with state and local policies and standard or identification of the educational needs of the students attending the school.
