The high school girls swimming season has gotten underway with over a week of swim practices and morning weight training. We have many "new" swimmers on the team this year. Senior Madison Wimmer is looking strong in the water and looking for a repeat return to PIAA States. Juniors Truly Sommer and Izzy Ketterer setting sights on PIAA Districts as well as Senior, Julia Landsberg.
Our first dual meet of the season is next Monday, December 4th against North Penn High School. We are looking forward to seeing all the girls compete. For some, this is their first competitive swim meet.

The boys swim team is looking forward to another exciting season! This year's team is led by seniors Jack Dowell, John Du, Jake Kallal, Christian Lebold, Ryan Phan, and Eric Zang. Returning swimmers are Hayden Brown (jr.), Josiah Tjoe (jr.), Jack DiPiano (so.), Troy Fink (so.), Lucah Petriello (so.), Dante Pineiro (so.), Ethan Tse (so.), and Will VanBuskirk (so.). The boys will continue to be a powerful contender in the PAC conference, and they look forward to continuing their success in the pool. Last year, the boys finished 3rd overall in the PAC Conference.

Girls Basketball
The 2023-2024 Lady Warriors come into the season ready to work hard and conquer new challenges. This year's team consists of 21 girls competing at the Varsity and Junior Varsity level. The first week of the season consisted of rigorous practices and drills where the girls worked extremely hard. Furthermore, on Saturday, November 25th, the girls participated in a competitive scrimmage against Twin Valley. For Varsity, all 4 quarters were full of action, and a 46-42 win was acquired for the Warriors. For the Junior Varsity, the same amount of action was upheld, and a 24-11 win was secured for the Warriors. At the Varsity level, the team returns just one starter from last season (Junior Abby Arnold). Experience from Seniors Ava Cingiser, Margaret Toaso, Courtney Freese, and Junior Jenna Kauffman, who all played key reserve roles last season, will also be needed to support the team. In addition, a talented group of sophomores and freshmen, which includes Sydney Hockenbrock, Olivia Organtini, and Lila Cingiser, will be counted on immediately at the Varsity level. The team is going to work hard to be the best possible team that they can be. Our mindset is to be a better team than the day before, and to always be improving and learning. The team will need to be able to adjust on the fly, stay positive and most importantly enjoy and have fun for every second we get to step on the court for practices and games. Our goals and expectations are always set high, as the team is looking to qualify for the league, district and state playoffs. In the PAC, every game in the league will be tough.

The Warriors had their first tri-scrimmage on 11/25 against Liberty High School and West Chester East. Both JV and Varsity did a good job competing. The preseason has been warming up as we get closer to the start of the season on December 1. The Warriors host another scrimmage on Tuesday against Unionville High School and Upper Darby High School. The Warriors are looking forward to fine-tuning their skills as they prepare to open up at a tip-off tournament on Friday and Saturday at Unionville High School against Lancaster Mennonite and Chichester. We are expecting 2 tough matchups to start the year. Go Warriors!

The Varsity Cheer Competition team is in full swing, preparing for their first competition in December. The team is working hard to perfect their technique and polish their routine before taking the mat for the first event of the year. The team is super excited to hit the floor for the 2023-2024 season!
