We made it to a week of rest and relaxation! I hope everyone enjoys time with family and friends... and don't forget to read, because reading makes you SMARTER!

Photos Needed for 5th Grade Slide Show!

On the last day of school, we will be sharing a slide show of photos during their special 5th grade graduation lunch. We need each family to submit up to 5 photos of their sweet kiddo. These can be from any time in their life.

Access this Google Form to submit your photos by April 30th.

5th Grade Committee is in need of a photographer. We want to take a photo of the whole grade for a graduation gift. Does anyone have a drone that takes high quality photos? Or even someone with a camera that would take a good picture? Reach out to nancykriggle@gmail.com.

Kindergarten Registration

🍎Do you have a child that will be starting Kindergarten next year?🍎

Kindergarten Registration for the 2023-2024 school year is coming soon! The online registration process will open on Monday, April 10th. When completing the online registration form, please make sure to select the 2023-2024 school year from the drop-down list.

Media Center Games

Battle of the Books is coming May 17th! We added a club for our younger students! Please choose a club and read all the books on the bookmark! Blue is for 1st and 2nd, Green is for 3rd and 4th, and Red is for 4th and 5th. Students reading above grade level may choose the higher level. On May 17th, students will get a chance to be in a game show! The questions will be over the books on the list! So, take notes. Keep reading…because reading makes you smarter!

More Media Center Games

Keep practicing those lay-ups! We received a grant from Walton EMC for shorter hoops on the playground, to support our SEL and Kids Teaching Kids Program. We hope that students who know the skill will teach other kids during recess. Ultimately, we want all of our students to be able to do a basketball lay-up for fun and fitness. Students will have many opportunities during recess to be timed to see how many layups they can do in one minute. Keep exercising...because exercise makes you happier!
